Permanent Real Estate Cooperatives

Permanent Real Estate Cooperative” is a phase that the Sustainable Economies Law Center uses to describe a new model of cooperative real estate, which will permanently take land off the speculative market and into community stewardship. The model combines features of CLTs, limited equity housing cooperatives, real estate investment cooperatives, and self-organizing social movements from around the world.
